Hello friends!
Well April is always a moody month. Daffodils dusted in snow. The winds howl and the rain pours. The rivers and creeks swell with water once more. We put on our rainboots and get muddy. Chickweed, cleavers, nettles, violets and dandelions roar their heads from the fertile soil. And like that, the green world springs back to life again.

The full Pink Moon in Libra is this Saturday, April 12 and we are in the sign of Aries, the most punk rock sign in the zodiac. This month’s playlist speaks to April’s stormy temperament peppered with lots of favorites from my youth (Hole, Nirvana, The Raincoats) mixed with dreamy ballads for those moments of sunshine amidst the hard rain.
My skin has been so dry these days, so I’m sharing my go to recipe for an easy body oil (yes, body oil is very easy to make!). This is featured in my book Wild Beauty.
No More Scales Body Oil
This deeply nourishing body oil is great year round for keeping your body soft, nourished and glowing. This powerful mix of carrier oils and essential oils will make your skin sing. Use right after shower on damp skin for best absorption.

For green springy scent:
-25 drops Rose Geranium essential oil
-20 drops Juniper Berry essential oil

Mix all ingredients together in small mixing bowl and stir well with spoon. Pour into bottle and put on lid. Use generously on damp skin after shower or as desired. Can also be used as shaving oil. If kept out of sunlight, will stay fresh for up to one year.
